As part of AshBritt’s commitment to engage with communities where they work, on Monday, February 25, a group of students from the Tom P Haney Technical Center joined AshBritt staff for a tour of Hurricane Michael debris removal operations.

Students were excited to learn about alternative ways they can continue their educations and advance their careers. Students toured ongoing right of way and waterway debris removal operations in Bay County. AshBritt team members highlighted career opportunities in disaster response, educational paths forward via vocational training and technical schools, and the potential to have direct positive impact in communities.

 

The AshBritt Foundation made a financial contribution to the Bay Education Foundation for the Tom P Haney Technical Center to support students pursuing vocational schools and technical educations.
