Randy Perkins’ company, Haiti Recovery Group (HRG) is a part of AshBritt, one of the largest disaster recovery companies in America. He say’s he has spent some twenty-five million dollars to get dozens of trucks and heavy excavation equipment here and has already set-up a facility to employ and feed hundreds of Haitian workers. So Far, however none of it is being used. He hasn’t been able to get a contract for work, and his equipment has been here so long, weeds are growing around it.

Change is hard to see in Haiti. So is hope, unfortunately. There have been months of talk, meetings, promises, and pledges but, until money is spent and the action is taken; The rebuilding of Haiti cannot truly begin……
