will provide technical assistance related to the FEMA Public Assistance
Program, and our experts will support and guide our Clients in dealing
with the State and Federal agencies that are responsible for providing
project funding to disaster impacted communities.
Provide a public assistance program overview to Department
Heads
& Elected Officials
Review Initial Damage Assessment Reports (Categories A thru
G)
Assist staff with the development of all project worksheets
Provide comprehensive training on the regulations, policies
and procedures of the FEMA Public Assistance process
to program staff and supervisors
Assist with accumulating, organizing and analyzing documentation
required for all seven categories of funding assistance
Train and support dedicated disaster staff members and supervisors
Training of staff and project monitoring to ensure sufficient
quality and quantity of documentation to gain maximum
external funding
Attend the Kickoff Meeting and all subsequent meetings between
local government representatives and the FEMA and State
Public Assistance Officials
Preparation of all official resolutions and legal requirements
to enable the debris removal program from public and
private property
Assistance in identifying and securing Federal Mitigation
Funding and Grants
Preparation of after action reports for possible improvements
to future response and recovery efforts |
