Randal "Randy" Perkins founded AshBritt as a Florida corporation in 1992. Randy sets the vision for the organization through constant insight, research, and analysis of the technical, operational, and political environments comprising the disaster industry.
Randy is highly qualified and experienced in all phases of disaster response and recovery operations from his years of practical, hands-on, real-world experience. He has an encyclopedic knowledge regarding all response measures, damage assessment, debris collection, removal, reduction, recycling, and disposal activities. Moreover, he is a deft communicator who is able to assist high level stakeholders with the public information demands following major disaster events.
Randy has completed course work at the University of Central Florida in Business Administration and at the University of Miami in Global Business Concepts. He holds seats on the Board of Directors of several national charitable organizations, and is very active in state and local charitable endeavors.
John W. Noble, Chief Operating Officer
John Noble is an environmental engineer who earned his Masters degree in Solid and Hazardous Waste Management from the University of Florida. He also is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering-Engineering Management. Over his career, John has managed a long line of environmental construction and mitigation projects. Since joining the AshBritt team in 1994, he has successfully overseen the operations of over thirty mid-to-large-scale disaster response and recovery projects. Furthermore, he has generally provided operational insights for all of AshBritt recovery deployments.
John is currently a State of Florida Board of Professional Engineers,Engineer Intern (# 1096ET126) and a licensed Certified Pollutant Storage System Contractor (No. PC C056744). He is certified in OSHA's 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response training, as well as the 8 Hour Annual Refresher course.
Terry M. Jackson, Chief Marketing Officer
Terry Jackson is AshBritt's chief marketing strategist, as well as an experienced, hands-on project manager. Since joining the AshBritt team in 1995, Terry has successfully managed over twenty-five various disaster and special environmental projects. Terry is a resident expert in the federal Public Assistance program and in the many regulations and guidelines propagated by FEMA. He is also AshBritt's senior compliance and safety manager, having gained invaluable first-hand experience and professional training over his many years of experience.
What's more, Terry joined the AshBritt team after a fruitful twenty year career with PepsiCo Corporation. His experience there in multi-market management, organization, and systems analysis has been transferred over the years to develop better client service, marketing, and administrative practices for AshBritt. Terry holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Houston, and has completed continuing education course work in business from Florida International University.
Jared Moskowitz, General Counsel, Business Development
Jared attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C where, as a political science major with a focus on the formulation of public policy, he immediately took advantage of all the opportunities available in the Nation’s Capitol and at the University.
While in Washington D.C. for his freshman year Jared interned at the Young Democrats of America. Jared left that position during his sophomore year for the opportunity to intern in the White House advance office for Vice President Al Gore. After working at the White House Jared worked as a document assistant at the national law firm of Steptoe & Johnson LLP. Jared left Steptoe as he was afforded the opportunity to work as an Assistant in the Campaign Legal Department for Senator Joseph Lieberman’s Presidential Campaign.
Ultimately, he returned home to Florida entering Nova Southeastern School of Law. In the summer of 2005 he served as a Law Clerk to Broward Circuit Court Judge Robert Rosenberg. In the summer of 2006 Jared had the opportunity to work as a law clerk for the law firm of Adorno & Yoss. Jared received his Juris Doctorate in the Spring of 2007 from Nova Southeastern University. Jared practiced law in the areas of Governmental Approval and Commercial Litigation with the law firm of Moskowitz, Mandell, Salim & Simowitz in Fort Lauderdale. In April of 2009 Jared joined AshBritt as Director of Government Relations and General Counsel. He now also serves as the Vice President of Business Development. Jared is responsible for managing the entire contracting/procurement process as well as the strategy nationwide including oversight of both the Government Relations and Client Relations departments. He also manages all consultants throughout the country as well as building and maintaining relationships with elected officials in current client and target areas.
In March 2006, Jared was elected to the City Commission of Parkland, Florida at age 25 while a second-year law student. He served as Parkland Vice Mayor from 2006-2008, and was reelected to his second term in November 2010. Jared has served as the Vice Chair of the Broward County Climate Change Task Force and on the Broward County Homeless Initiative Partnership board. During the 2008 Presidential Campaign Jared emerged as a national Democratic fundraiser. He was selected to be a Florida Delegate at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. One of the speeches Jared gave was quoted by President Bill Clinton during the 2008 Presidential primary. The Obama campaign selected Jared to be a Florida Elector to cast his ballot for President Obama at the Electoral College Meeting. Jared is now running for State Representative for District 97 on the November 2012 ballot.
