Emergency Leaders and Meteorologists Rally in Orlando for the 2010 National Hurricane Conference
A hurricane is roaring towards your community… now what? That is just one of the many questions public officials, emergency response teams and top meteorologists will discuss at the 2010 National Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Florida through March 29-April 2.
According to the National Hurricane Conference website, the primary purpose of the conference “is to improve hurricane preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation in order to save lives and property in the United States and the tropical islands of the Caribbean and Pacific.”
