Debris Removal
The principal Contractor task in the recovery from a disaster event is debris removal from public rights-of-way. The type and magnitude of the event and the make-up of the resulting debris stream will dictate the number and composition of the recovery resources deployed for the cleanup. AshBritt maintains a fleet of self-loading grapple trucks designed specifically for debris collection that are immediately mobilized to assist our clients. AshBritt's company owned resources are supplemented by select resources from our extensive database of specialty subcontractors experienced in recovery activities.

Temporary Debris Storage and Reduction Sites
All activities associated with massive debris clearance, removal, and ultimate disposal operations depend upon the availability of suitable temporary debris storage and reduction sites (TDSRS). Identifying these potential sites before a natural disaster will expedite debris removal and subsequent volume reduction and disposal actions. An AshBritt representative is available to assist our clients in the identification analysis and selection of potential TDSRS.

Debris Reduction
AshBritt can provide several debris reduction alternatives for our clients. Consideration of logistical and environmental
concerns, as well as the disposal or beneficial use of the processing residual (ash, mulch) should be weighed in the decision process.

Quality Assurance
AshBritt oversight of any recovery project will include layers of supervision to ensure that recovery activities are conducted according to strict government regulations. Daily reports tracking the project evolution are provided to our Clients online. Reports can be easily customized to accomodate any areas of special interest to our Clients.

Debris on Private Property

Private property debris removal or right-of-entry (ROE) work is periodically authorized for reimbursement by FEMA when widespread hazards posing an immediate threat to public health and safety are present on private property. Prior to performing any work on private property, proper documentation and survey of the hazard(s) are necessary to ensure eligibility under the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) program. The technical team provided by AshBritt will assist our clients with the request for ROE, interpretation of the ROE eligibility criteria, ROE rules for the current disaster, and the documentation necessary to authorize work on private property.
