AshBritt Environmental has been awarded a United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Advanced Contracting Initiative (ACI) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for Debris Management Services for the South Atlantic Division (SAD) (N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Alabama), and the South Pacific Division (SPD) (California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico). In addition, AshBritt serves as the backup contractor position for the Northwestern Division (NWD) (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas and Missouri), and the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD) (North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Louisiana and Mississippi).

Due in part to its impressive experience in providing disaster response and recovery services for federally-funded projects, AshBritt was one of only five contractors qualified for the ACI bid.  If the U.S government grants assistance through the United States Army Corps of Engineers to a location within the SAD Division, which includes N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Alabama, or the SPD Division, which includes the State of California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. AshBritt would work quickly to provide the specified equipment, operators and laborers for debris removal operations. These measures would consist of, but are not limited to, debris removal, segregation, hauling, disposal, and structural demolition on public, private and commercial property.

“With our proven record of disaster recovery efforts in Mississippi after the devastation Hurricane Katrina left behind, we know we have the capacity, experience and readiness to partner with the USACE if the circumstance calls for a large-scale, professionally managed response,” says Robert Ray, Senior Vice President at AshBritt Environmental.
