On June 1, 2011 tornadoes struck the City of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, leaving homes destroyed, road ways impassable, and city recreation areas unusable.

One of the impacted areas was the Wilbraham Children’s Museum.  Ashbritt was given the task of handling the cleanup efforts. The damage was pretty significant. Their swing set had been destroyed; the museum itself sustained damages such as broken windows, and the grounds were swathed with down trees. “We were very lucky to have our site intact and we are grateful for all that your business has done on our site and in our community.” Colette Davis, Treasurer, Wilbraham Children’s Museum.

The Tornado did cause quite a disruption. However, it did not break them and they will continue to work hard to bring it back to its original condition.  After Ashbritt cleaned-up the tornado ravaged area, they left the museum with a donation of rakes to help keep the grounds and its park in top shape.
